GDITC 2013

On thursday morning Gadget, Bridget (the wonder van)
and i set off for the Mecca of sewing

Nundle NSW

for my annual GDITC weekend

we arrived late afternoon and had one of the fastest set ups we have ever had
so we sat and waited for all the
Girls to arrive

Sandy, Chris and Jenny had arrived early
so i headed up and had a pre dinner drink with them

Friday morning dawned a little cloudy but we set off exploring
with me taking Gadget to all my Favourite Nundle haunts

we also drove up to hanging rock lookout

the view from Hanging rock look out
looking back over Nundle

Friday Midday and the madness began

lunch at the pub

show and tell
and drinks and nibbles on the lawn

then we headed off to Mount Misery
for dinner

I handed over my
Caring with quilts, Quilt
i think i gave it to the right person she wouldn't show her face
but she did say it kept her warm later that night

Saturday dawned Sunny and i was ready for
the day i wait all year for

Quilts at the front door

the tables were beautifully decorated as always

our project options
a bag

a box

and there was a gorgeous journal cover
designed by Kerry
which i unfortunately didn't get a photo of

it took me a while to work out my
butterfly

we also got to do a surprise project

a pincushion bracelet
which will be very helpful

Lea and Alison working flat out

The annual bloggers photo
(it gets bigger every year)

Dinner was at the Peel Inn
then afterwards we headed back to the hall
for an antique quilt trunk show

i think i have found my next EPP project
i just love this quilt

all in all it was a fabulous weekend
and i have soooooo

A huge thankyou to all the Girls
that make this such a fabulous weekend
just by Turning up

and  a massive Thank you
to
Kerry

for all your hard work
in pulling together what would be my favourite day of the year

Hope your hands are working on a project that you love
