My Friday night with friends did nt go as planned. I thought I would spend it stitching away on my machine, working on my star of wonder blocks

I did do some work on them

I layed them out ready to join

Pinned them together, have you used these great double barrelled pins? These are fabulous, I never get folded over seams and everything stays exactly where I want it to be . . . . .

I Joined two thirds of one block and am ready to join the next third
(Things are a bit slow here in the nest at the moment , too much happening)

For the rest of the night I curled up on my lounge with my daughters and we watched a movie and I worked on this

A mothers pockets by Cinderberry stitches

Another LOOOONG term project . . . . But I am nearly finished, so close, maybe another movie night or two and I will be done

" I hope your hands are working on a project that you love"

Ciao

It will look great..there are a lot of seams in those blocks..and I haven't seen those sort of pins before..they must make piecing so much easier..

I love the starry blocks. It does look time consuming. The stitchery looks great. It is quite large.

Nice, bright star blocks. So nice to just stitch on the couch in front of a movie.
