Busy in the nest

With the taste of summer in the air, there is always a lifting of spirits . . . And after the cold months and the constant zooming around that always seems to occur in our household we are looking forward to the changes that summer may bring.

hopefully lot of long lazy evenings enjoyed beside our pool.

Many changes are occurring in the egg household

This lounge which graced our lounge room for over 10 years has been given away to a family in need and we are excitedly looking forwards to the arrival of our new lounge this week

These curtains

which I made for our lounge room almost 14 years ago
are also going and will soon be replaced with blinds

Lots of gardening (well weeding really) has been happening,
and I am loving the warmth of the sun on my skin.

I haven t been lax in the nest (sewing room) either
I have been slowly working away at
Merrimack

Almost but not quite perfect

And this is the easy seam . . . . .

And it looks like this . . . .

Ahhh 3 to go . . . .

you wait till you see what happens next

"Hope your hands are working on a project that you love . . . . ."

Hi Missy, it is always good to have a springclean isn't it. This week I am making a few new pillows for the boat so this is my version given the weather hasn't been cold here! Hope this finds you well and happy.
